At Wellness Care & Support we provide specialist support or people with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions and other complex needs. This includes supporting people who have behaviours that challenge, supporting people with physical disabilities and complex physical needs, supporting people with learning disabilities and mental ill health, including those that self-harm, supporting people with additional disabilities such as communication difficulties and sensory impairments alongside any other complex needs.
We provide care and support on an individualised and person-centred basis. Support is personalised, responding to the unique needs of everyone. It is co-ordinated, to ensure a holistic approach and, it is enabling; allowing those supported to utilise their full potential. People are treated with dignity and respect and are always involved in the decisions which are made about their care.
We use Positive Behaviour Support to improve quality of life and reduce the need for adverse and restrictive practices. Our focus is on the person and their needs rather than the behaviour. We also work with friends and family members to ensure the broadest possible support base for changing behaviour.

Wellness Care & Support provide settings designed to be individualised and bespoke to the needs of each service user providing a safe, enriching environment where the service user will not only feel supported, but will feel at home. Each setting is located in a neighbourhood where community partnerships and engagement are a high priority. Locality risk assessments and a thorough property overview is available for each home with open communication channels with local authorities such as the Police and the Local Safeguarding Board to ensure that each setting is above all, a safe and suitable living environment.
